Below are current prayer requests from our ministry team in the Galilee.
Saleem and Andera Hanna - Nazareth
Dear prayer partners, thank you for your ongoing support in standing with us before the throne of the Almighty. Your prayers help us carry the load of the ministry as the Lord hears the prayers of the righteous and acts upon them.
Pray with us that as we, as a team or as churches, go through this advent season proclaiming the love fo God through Jesus Christ, that the Lord will prepare the field and that many will be blessed and come to know Him as their savior.
We are also looking forward for our 5th youth conference coming up the first weekend of January 2019, so please as you stand with us in prayer for this event that has become an important event in several aspects, pray for the youth attending, the speakers of the main sessions and those of the workshops, the worship team, our team of ministers, the equipment, the venue, the Lord's protection and guidance.
Hani and Shifa Billan - Cana of Galilee
We praise the Lord for the doors He is opening for us for ministry in Cana. Last year we were very welcome at an institution for people with special needs. What we shared was so moving to the care takers and some of them even cried. We were invited again this year to visit them, so please pray with us that the Lord will prepare the hearts of all those we will come in contact with there. We will also be visiting the dialysis facility at a hospital in Nazareth. Please pray that we will find grace in their eyes and that the Lord will prepare their hears for the message we will be sharing with them. Also pray for the other Christmas ministries we are preparing for among children, young people and women.
Ibrahim and Ekhlas Sadran - Cana of Galilee
We are excited about the next couple of weeks which will be filled with Christmas centered ministry. We will be visiting families in their homes and we will sing Christmas carols with them. We will also share together from scripture about the Word that became flesh and came to this world to deliver us. This is such a blessing to be able to do this is the coziness of people’s homes and focus on what Christmas truly is about. Please keep us in your prayers and pray with us that more families will open their doors to receive us that they may hear about Jesus and fall in love with Him.
Hanna and Lina Eid - Eilabun
As many of you know the church in Eilabun never owned its own facility, and over the years we ran into various problems renting space. While in the west it is not a problem for a church to rent, in our culture owning a property gives credibility before the community and safety and identity to the church members. Furthermore, renting adds to the financial challenge the churches faces every month. We turned to the head of the local counsel in request for help to acquire a land, and he seems to be responding to our requests. He promised us that he will bring the matter before the counsel for discussion. Please keep us and the church in your prayers, this would be a huge leap forward for ministry in Eilabun. Pray that the Lord will not only provide us with a land, but also with all the funds needed to build a facility to serve Him, His people and the whole village.
Bshara and Randa Khazen - Beine
Pastoring two churches has been a fun challenge. We have seen the Lord do amazing things in both Be’ine and Rameh and we look forward for what is to come. Please keep us in your prayers this time of the year as it will be very busy and full of ministry. Pray that we will stay healthy, that we will remain strong in Him and that the Lord will be glorified in all that we do. Our hearts' desire is to see both churches grow and be a true testimony of God’s love to both villages especially during Christmas time.
Elias and Rose Obeid - Tura'an
This Saturday, the 8th, we will be holding the annual 'Seeing With New Eyes' event. This event serves as an opportunity to gather the women we follow up with after the Mother’s Day Celebration, as well as set new personal goals with the Lord for the new year. This year we have a full bus coming from a town in the West Bank called Zababdeh. These are women who attended the Mother’s Day Celebration earlier this year and are very excited about joining us for the event. Please pray for us to give all we have for His glory on Saturday, and pray for the women coming from Zababdeh to have an easy time coming into Israel and to be blessed by the event.
