God's Faithfulness

A devotional thought from Ibrahim

"It is because of the goodness of the Lord that we have not perished." -Lamentations 3:22

The people were not faithful to their God, but God remained faithful, because that is His nature. He is the faithful one even if we are not faithful. Therefore our God deserves that we offer Him the thanksgiving and praise of our hearts, and to always; every morning and every evening, actually every moment, to lift our thanksgiving and the appreciation of our hearts to Him. What a great honor and privilege that we have a God like this; great in His love, great in His faithfulness and fearful in His might, and we are to love from all our heart, all our might and all our soul, and so our joy is made complete, our security and assurance.
